Corporate Senior Associate or Partner – Sophisticated Chicago Law Firm

About the Position:
Our client, a full-service law firm in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer with 6+ years of experience to join its practice as a senior associate or income partner (depending on experience level). The attorneys in this firm’s corporate practice work on a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, financing, commercial contracts, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a range of sophisticated corporate transactions, particularly those involving M&A, as well as entity formations, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters
· Counseling executives regarding business transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 6 or more years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A
· Some business required for partner-level candidates
· Experience with fundraising docs is a plus

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000+.
