About the Role WHY JOIN THE ADVISORY BOARD?

We are seeking leaders and change makers who are inspired to give back, create a legacy, and leverage their developed skills and networks to champion childrens education. Put your domain and leadership expertise to use, to help catalyze the continued expansion and footprint. Together, we have sent over 6,000 children to school to date.

The Role

The Advisory Board exists to further the mission of:

- Introducing strategic / operational recommendations to executive leadership - Weighing in on proposed motions, prior to Board of Directors vote - Engaging in an assigned Steering Committee (Development, Impact, Nominations, Events, etc.) - Expanding the reach of the organization to professional, corporate, institutional network - Raising funds and driving engagement around major events, galas

Time Commitment:

2-4 in-person Board Meetings (Palo Alto and New York City) Attend Annual Gala and other major events We strongly encourage board members to visit one of our partner schools during their term and to actively participate in one or more of our committees or task forces.

Financial Commitment:

Give: Minimum pledge of $3,500 a year (typically structured as a monthly $300 give) Get: No official 'get', but support from the Advisory Board is critical to the success of fundraising efforts
