Maintenance Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to assist in the maintenance and routine service of our remote-controlled devices. The qualified candidate will require mechanical skills, electrical integration skills, and assembly experience. You will be part of a larger development effort, working independently in a highly collaborative environment. This role is within an iterative environment where you can drive innovation and apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve real-world delivery challenges and provide benefits to customers. KPI: Maintenance knowledge, Drone/Aviation Mechanics Leadership Principle: Ownership, and Insist on the Highest Standards Aviation, Technical Skills, Resource Management MUST HAVES: Technical background, mechanical, electrical, etc. Detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts, PC hardware and software, troubleshooting and workstation desktop/laptop hardware. Experience supporting Windows XP/7 and Server operating systems in a managed desktop environment. Solid knowledge of networks including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Windows Server networking. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. NICE TO HAVES: Drone Maintenance Experience, Aviation background (drones, helicopter, fixed wing planes etc.) Experience supporting Macintosh OS X 10.4 Basic working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems, Red Hat preferable at a user level.
