Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse audiences. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Business Data Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and enhancement of business systems and data processes. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels at translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and driving data-centric solutions that improve operational efficiency. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand current functionalities, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions. A strong foundation in data analysis, process documentation, and Agile methodologies is essential. Responsibilities
Analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and user requirements to identify opportunities for automation and system improvements. Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses of proposed solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for new systems or enhancements. Write Epics and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development and QA teams. Review system capabilities and limitations to assess the viability of requested changes. Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, business requirement documents, and data mapping specifications. Design and present visual data models and dashboards to communicate trends, performance metrics, and timelines. Lead workshops and interviews to gather insights, resolve data-related issues, and align technical solutions with business goals.
