About Your Role As a Data & Analytics Manager at Dollar Tree’s Corporate Office, you’ll define business needs and use analytics to deliver measurable value. You’ll help shape and optimize next‑generation enterprise performance through advanced analytics and data‑driven insights, ensuring our analytics capabilities directly inform strategy and execution across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Convert desired outcomes into value‑based business initiatives, linking them to specific analytics and applying interpretation methods to create measurable value.
Define and deploy analytics‑led performance management models to inform strategic and operational planning and decision‑making.
Architect enterprise‑wide data and analytics transformations related to enterprise data management, reporting automation, and data science innovation.
Organize and analyze large data sets to create shareholder value using technologies such as data lakes, next‑gen BI, and enterprise data management systems.
Oversee and maintain organizational database management systems, including SQL Server and Alteryx Server, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Evaluate and adopt advancements in analytics, AI, and emerging digital tools to enhance enterprise‑wide performance.
Lead and manage diverse technical teams, encouraging innovative thinking and turning ideas into impactful solutions.
Implement structured decision‑making methods and execute projects independently to achieve data and analytics goals.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred).
5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Transformation, Process Automation, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
Proven project management, business, and people development experience.
Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, etc.).
Strong understanding of enterprise data tools, analytics technologies, and data visualization practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Requirements
MBA preferred.
Experience with enterprise data architecture and cloud‑based analytics environments.
Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
