The Vice President of GSSP Service Creation Sales leads a team of sales engineers, product specialists and sales professionals who partner with wireline providers, managed service providers and carriers to create and drive services and solutions around the world, driving long‑term growth. This team works in collaboration with Ericsson account management and market area teams to strengthen partnerships, develop new business opportunities, launch 5G‑based enterprise services, and accelerate sales performance with Ericsson’s Enterprise Wireless Solutions GSSPs.

Responsibilities

Meet and/or exceed annual sales targets.

Develop the overall GSSP Service Creation sales team strategy and drive its execution to continually improve the value provided to global wireline, managed service providers and carrier partners in a changing market.

Lead a team to evolve existing services and launch new revenue‑generating services underpinned by Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions technologies through GSSP partnerships.

Develop, lead and inspire a high‑performing sales consultant, product specialist and engineering teams worldwide.

Foster tight collaboration between the GSSP team and Ericsson customer units, market areas, and product business units to achieve partner/provider outcomes.

Serve as a coach and mentor by modeling best‑practice business development, consulting, marketing, sales enablement and team values.

Lead business development and thought‑leadership initiatives to drive new opportunities and evolve existing services with executive leadership.

Direct the team to develop sales enablement strategies that grow both direct and indirect salesforces.

Standardize the offers we bring to the market by working with cross‑functional teams, including but not limited to commercial, product management, product engineering, operations and support.

Track and report team strategy and sales performance to sales leadership.

Qualifications

Business degree; MBA or equivalent leadership experience.

10+ years’ experience working with telecommunications service providers and network operators in sales, channel sales, business development, product management or consulting.

Experience in the telecommunications ecosystem including global operators, tier‑1/2 operators, regional service providers, MSOs and indirect channels.

Experience with global service provider/carrier product‑development lifecycle and requirements to develop, launch, operationalize and enable the GTM with new enterprise‑focused services.

Experience with direct and indirect sales strategy.

Experience with channel programs, channel policies and channel management.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities in business development, consultative sales, partnership management and sales enablement.

Proven track record of business development to grow new business and foster long‑term strategic relationships.

Strong influence as a change agent capable of leading organizational transformations.

Ability to drive thought leadership and influence in a matrixed environment with diverse cross‑functional teams.

Strong business acumen and deep telecommunications and managed services market knowledge.

Knowledge of services, solutions, technology partnerships, economics, industry trends and channels to drive growth strategies with partners.

Firm understanding of wireline and wireless telecommunications technology including 5G.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

High analytical and planning capabilities.

Commercially savvy with a firm understanding of business finance.

Effective interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence and collaboration skills.

Primary Location United States (US) – Remote

Compensation Salary range varies by market:

National Market: $196,000 – $294,000

Premium Market: $200,800 – $301,200

Bay Area Market: $209,200 – $313,800

Variable compensation plan includes sales commissions based on performance.
