Alarm Monitor Dispatch Officer
Typical Duties
Function as a dispatcher in a security or law enforcement environment. Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports. Operate a digital CCTV system. Operate fire alarm system for program monitoring. Operate an access control program such as C-Cure 9000. Capture and record video MPEG or JPEG for CD burning or e-mailing attachments.
Qualifications
Be twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Must pass a physical fitness test.
Education And Experience
Speak, read, and write English. Each Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operator must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Five (5) years of experience. Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows-based programs such as Excel, Word, and Access-based programs.
