Sr Advanced Software Engineer Crypto & Cross Domain Solutions
Join a team at the forefront of national security-develop and enhance advanced cryptographic and cross domain solutions that support secure, mission-critical communications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and debug secure software systems in support of crypto and cross-domain solutions. Lead software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, from architecture through deployment. Apply industry and government security standards to ensure software integrity and compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate software into larger systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the development stack. Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and technical standards. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed. Ensure security-first design practices aligned with Department of Defense requirements. Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field. Clearance:
Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire. Experience:
8+ years of relevant software engineering experience OR Master's degree + 6 years of experience
Development Skills:
Experience with software design, development, testing, and debugging Familiarity with agile software development practices Knowledge of secure coding standards and cryptographic systems preferred
