It serves the Treasure Valley and other areas providing outreach patient care.
What You Will Do
Work alongside the doctor, NP, and another MA at the clinic.
Perform primary MA duties, including EKGs, placing heart monitors, educating patients, and setting up stress tests.
Complete prior authorizations, patient calls, and in‑basket tasks.
Show strong critical thinking, be self‑motivated, adaptable, and a team player who enjoys building relationships with physicians and patients.
Experience with cardiac medications, EKG placement, and rhythm knowledge is a plus.
Work Schedule 40 hours per week, 4–10 hour shifts, primarily Monday–Friday (one day off).
The shift may be 9 hour days Monday–Thursday with 4 hour Friday.
Physician on‑call schedule varies.

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
MA certification required within 90 days of hire from a Saint Alphonsus approved agency: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Healthcare Association (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC), National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA).
New MA Graduates: MA certificate of completion from an accredited program or 100‑hour externship, or 6 months MA experience in lieu of externship hours.
MA with Experience: 1 year MA experience, or current MA certification, or renewal within 90 days of hire.
Basic Life Support certification (AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network) at hire.
