Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team of TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates on a seasonal basis. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.
About the Role In this on‑site role at a TurboTax location, you will provide full‑service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and product support. You will serve both in‑person and virtually, assisting with simple W2 filings up to complex business income, amendments, and investment scenarios. Your goal is to be a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and provide future tax‑planning advice.
Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, building relationships, and supporting local event outreach.
Represent TurboTax publicly, host learning events, and demystify taxes for the community.
Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience, interacting face‑to‑face and via video tools.

Who You Are
Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season.
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Familiarity with Circular 230.
Willingness to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours at a TurboTax location.
Interest in building a local and online presence aligned with Intuit’s policies.
Proficient in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.

Compensation The expected base pay range varies by location: Bay Area CA $23.70–$28.00; Southern CA $23.70–$28.00; Colorado $22.60–$26.70; Hawaii $23.70–$28.00; Illinois $22.60–$26.70; Maryland $22.60–$26.70; Massachusetts $23.70–$28.00; Minnesota $20.20–$23.90; New Jersey $23.70–$28.00; New York $23.70–$28.00; Ohio $20.20–$23.90; Vermont $22.60–$26.70; Washington $23.70–$28.00; Washington DC $22.60–$26.70.
