Now Hiring – Hospice Marketing Liaison – Union Counties and Essex Counties
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Generate business by creating and maintaining relationships with physicians, community and senior organizations, hospitals, and other potential referral sources.
Prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to potential referral sources.
Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations and joining as a member to promote Ascend’s services and hospice philosophy.
Promote an atmosphere that upholds the privacy, dignity and well‑being of all patients.
Promote positive public relations with patients, family members and healthcare providers.
Serve as a resource internally and externally to support the mission and vision of the organization, particularly in palliative and end‑of‑life care.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Professional Experience:
Experience in marketing, preferably in hospice or other healthcare environments (Home Health, Long Term Care, Pharmaceuticals).
Willingness to travel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self‑starter with ability to generate leads.
Organized approach to territory management; capable of working with limited supervision.
Team player capable of supporting and promoting the hospice philosophy to referral sources.
