Job Summary Pro QC International seeks a skilled VDA 6.3 Supplier Auditor to conduct partial‑scope audits (P5–P7) of Aptiv’s suppliers in the automotive industry. The role is a 1099 contractor with multiple audits across various U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
Conduct VDA 6.3 partial‑scope audits (P5–P7) of Aptiv’s suppliers.
Focus only on in‑production suppliers using standard components.
Document audit findings, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Certifications Required
VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification (issued by VDA‑QMC) – mandatory.
IATF 16949 Certification – preferred (as backup only).
Experience
3–5 years of experience in supplier audits within the automotive industry.
Solid understanding and use of VDA 6.3 methodology.
Preferred: Experience conducting partial‑scope (P5–P7) audits.
Industry Background
Automotive manufacturing.
Experience auditing Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers preferred.
Job Type 1099 Contractor
Project Duration Multiple audits across various U.S. locations. Each audit averages 1.5 man‑days (1 day on‑site, 0.5 day for reporting).
Shift Hours Typically standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time). Schedules may vary depending on assigned projects.
Location Must be able to travel to Troy, IL, and St. Louis, MO. Future audits may be assigned in other MO and IL areas.
