About the Role As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and providing customers with support and guidance. You'll use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all the relevant information they need for the best experience. You'll also work on garment refill and care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Job Description As a Sales Advisor, you will:

Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service.

Engage customers in conversations to provide excellent service.

Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.

Effectively promote and sell our products to customers.

Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.

Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.

Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.

A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:

Customer Sales & Profit

Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available.

Engage customers and provide excellent service.

Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and products.

Promote and sell products effectively.

Promote the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives.

Represent yourself and the brand positively.

Support sales targets with the store management team.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

Keep up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.

Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.

Team & Development

Share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.

Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.

Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.

Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, trainings, and courses relevant to your role and future development.

Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution

Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.

Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.

Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockrooms.

Support garment presentation, execution, and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends, and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.

Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on sales floor.

Follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools.

Support opening and closing of the store.

Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.

Qualifications

Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Experience working in sales in a dynamic and collaborative environment that can be applied to the role.

Experience with customer service in fashion, retail or other service‑related industries.

Compensation Sales Associates Pay Rate $16.00 per hour**
