Responsibilities
Support financial systems and related transformation initiatives to optimize utilization of system capabilities and data structure, while maintaining or improving the integrity and consistency of business data entered and stored in those systems.
Drive and support information systems improvements to support efficiency improvements around business processes and ensure data integrity and consistency.
Support other finance and accounting functions in assessing the internal controls implications of business data and information.
Support design, testing, and rollout of information systems enhancements to ensure data efficiency, consistency, and integrity.
Understand a single project or initiative from the perspective of all the stakeholders.
Support information systems enhancements to support ongoing business process improvements.
Understand and support BrightView’s overall control environment, specifically focused on controls associated with business systems and data input/maintenance.
Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
Serve as a point of contact between business users and the IT team.
Work individually, or in collaboration with other team members, depending on the needs of the project. Be a good listener and an accomplished diplomat.
Support day‑to‑day production activities in a complex technical environment consisting of off‑the‑shelf applications, custom applications, SQL databases, and integrations.
Qualifications
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is required.
Experience with ReportsNow, Alteryx, CoStar, OneStream, or SecurEnds is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, technical field, or equivalent work experience.
5 to 7 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within a services‑based organization.
Strong self‑starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
Skilled in creating professional documentation, including business requirements, test plans, design specs, user guides, and technical specifications.
Proven ability to support and maintain enterprise‑level applications, coordinating complex issues across internal teams, IT, and external vendors.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and elevate technical issues appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance efficiency.
