Director of Business Operations at Maxim Healthcare Services About this Job The Healthcare Recruiter sources, screens, hires, and retains qualified healthcare professionals to meet the office’s business needs. The Recruiter develops relationships with clients, patients, and referral sources to determine open needs, successful placements, and identifies additional business opportunities. Recruiters are responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the position requirements, negotiating compensation, overseeing onboarding requirements, and managing active providers. They are expected to stay knowledgeable of industry trends, forecast opportunities, and consult with candidates while sharing best practices and nurturing relationships within the industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet the office’s immediate and projected needs.

Utilize a variety of recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates.

Match and evaluate candidate skills to client and patient needs through screening and interviewing.

Complete necessary reference checks on candidate background and work experience.

Ensure candidates meet Maxims and applicable contract hiring standards.

Negotiate salary, terms, and conditions of employment with candidates.

Schedule caregivers and field staff for initial placement and ongoing assignments.

Manage caregivers and field staff while on assignment, assess concerns and issues, and provide performance coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action when appropriate.

Maintain regular contact and develop relationships with active clients, patients, and referral sources to identify current staffing needs, projected openings, and potential new business opportunities.

Ensure client, patient and referral source expectations are understood and met while addressing and resolving customer service, caregiver or field staff performance concerns.

Document candidate, caregiver, field staff, and client correspondence and activities within the system of record.

Take on‑call as scheduled.

Incorporate caregiver and field staff retention strategy into daily routine.

Build and cultivate relationships with industry contacts to gain knowledge, referrals, and business development leads.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration.

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Results‑driven, sense of urgency, and high standards of professionalism.

Compliance & Ethics Expectations

Participate in and complete the company’s compliance program requirements and adhere to the Code of Conduct, Company policies, and applicable federal and state requirements.

Set an example for other employees regarding the application and observation of the Company’s Code of Conduct and Compliance Program in daily interactions with customers, business operations, and team members.

Report potential violations of company policy, the Code of Conduct, and applicable laws and regulations to the hotline, chain of command, or the Compliance and Ethics Department.

Promote an environment in which employees are encouraged to report potential violations.

Provide input and suggestions on improving policies, procedures, workflows, and controls to enhance compliance.
