Sr. Technical Business Analyst
Location:
Pittsburgh, PA/ Jersey City, NJ/ Lake Mary, FL
Who are we looking for? We need a skilled Capital Markets / Investment Banking / Wealth Management Business Analyst with strong communication skills.
You’ll work with senior leaders and Agile teams for top financial clients, defining requirements, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features with clients.
This is a highly collaborative environment, and you will be expected to be in workplace few days a week.
Responsibilities
Prioritize features with clients
Provide business expertise to engineering teams
Define product requirements and manage the backlog prioritization for multiple development tracks
Create user stories and acceptance criteria
Work closely with Agile teams, experienced with agile tools like Jira and hands on with collaborative platforms like Confluence for documentation management
Fluent with creating functional diagrams and can work with little supervision
Provide weekly reporting to leadership teams
An ideal Candidate will have
12+ years’ experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking / Wealth Management in Sr Business Analyst roles and 5 - 7 years relevant experience in Product Owner role.
Strong domain knowledge around
mutual/hedge Funds Securities and Fixed income
required. Knowledge of Alladin / Eagle Pace is plus.
Has worked on Analytics / reporting products is required.
Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Pentaho and database like SQL server , Snowflake etc is a plus.
Exposure in Agile methodologies and tool, and Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or finance.
Behavioral Skills
Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
