Human Resource Manager

What You’ll Do As the HR Manager, you’ll be a trusted strategic partner to site leadership, delivering HR programs, support, coaching, and development to operational leaders and employees. You will lead with empathy, shape a culture where people thrive, and deliver solutions to support long‑term and short‑term business goals.
Responsibilities
Lead HR strategy, employee engagement, and compliance.
Maintain a positive employee relations climate, be visible and approachable on each shift.
Ensure adherence to policies, processes, and federal/local employment laws.
Represent CJ Logistics in employee‑related hearings and investigations.
Coach leadership on employee matters, HR processes, and programs.
Resolve employee relations investigations fairly and consistently.
Partner with operational leaders to develop a culture of engagement.
Coordinate recruiting, new hire and new leader orientations.
Manage HRIS, maintain accurate data, and provide reporting.
Analyze data and provide recommendations for business improvements.
Support staffing, retention, and workforce planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
At least 6 years of HR management in an hourly or light industrial workforce.
Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and influence skills.
Experience with union avoidance techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
Proficiency with Google suite, Excel, and HRIS.
Ability to travel up to 10% and work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 operation.
Ability to perform in a warehouse environment.
Pay, Benefits, and More
Salary range: $83,000 - $95,000.
