The Full Stack Engineer for Citi's Private Database Cloud role will be responsible for developing Citi's private database cloud, leveraging the latest web and cloud tech stacks. A successful applicant must be a strong communicator and should have experience with front and back end web technologies, CI/CD and containers. Database and infrastructure experience is a plus. Responsibilities
Engineer, design and implement front and back end components for Citi's private cloud initiative. Responsible for managing DBaaS web portal and back end processes. Evaluate new Cloud technologies and perform proof of concept evaluations. Application tuning, performance optimization and maintenance Application monitoring and alerting automation Qualifications
5 plus years in a product development/product management environment Proficient in Java and Python. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Angular, or similar modern web development frameworks. Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle. Proven ability in microservices design and development, API integration, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to understand business functions and user stories, and decompose them into clear technical specifications for application and microservices development. Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum. Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate seamlessly within a global team. Good to have experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management. Education
