This position provides an opportunity to work in a challenging and exciting work environment, with travel and flexible work hours. Responsibilities include combatting recycling fraud and providing supervisory oversight for Special Investigators in the Sacramento Region. Travel shall include visits to the Sacramento Field office and may include overnight travel throughout California. Travel may be up to 50% annually. Working irregular hours may be required, including nights, holidays, and weekends. Incumbent does not have peace officer authority, nor perform peace officer responsibilities as defined in Penal Code California Section 830 et seq. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to telework eligibility criteria and future program needs. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Beginning July 1, 2026, it is anticipated the position will be office-centered and employees will be expected to report to the office at least four days per week. The position requires a valid California Driver’s License (CDL). You must provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements/restrictions on your application. Application and Qualifications
