What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entry points and screen individuals as required by location protocols, maintaining awareness of access control policies.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, observations, or issues encountered during patrols or screening duties.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
