Objective The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing the business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager will be required to demonstrate excellence in developing and implementing territory business plans that lead to the achievement of sales goals and objectives. Responsibilities include coordination and integration with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) and field-based employees (Field Reimbursement Managers, etc.) to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.

Required Qualifications

Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience

Strong communication skills and business acumen

Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results

Valid driver’s license

Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience

3+ years medical dermatology sales experience

Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment

Experience promoting high-science products

Product launch experience

Experience selling in a highly competitive environment

Personal Skills / Attributes This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. Highly motivated, professional, and capable of building trust with the matrix team, they are transparent, ethical, and compliant in all activities. They should be proficient at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion.

General Responsibilities / Decision-Making Authority

Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager

Responsible for understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports

Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting

Responsible for managing promotional budgets within their territory

Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
