Full Stack Developer

12 month contract to permanent located in Akron. Actalent is seeking a software engineer/full stack developer who can design and create robust applications while integrating AI-powered tools and features into our products. You'll work across the stack from front-end interfaces to back-end systemsand use AI-assisted development tools to deliver faster, smarter, and more scalable solutions. This position offers the opportunity to learn advanced techniques, gain exposure to product development, and support ongoing innovation within a growing technical team. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end web applications (front-end, back-end, databases, cloud). Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency in coding, testing, and documentation. Integrate AI/ML models and APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) into production applications. Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to ship AI-enabled features. Ensure application performance, scalability, and security. Participate in CI/CD, testing, and DevOps workflows. Communicate effectively with all team members and supervisors to resolve technical issues across various lines of business. Actively participate in team meetings, technical training, and process improvement initiatives. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow technical skills through on-the-job training and continued education. Preferred Skills and Experience

+ 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar. + Skilled in front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask, etc.). + Proficiency with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). + Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs or ML models into real-world applications. + Familiarity with microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, Docker, Kubernetes. + Experience with utilizing large volumes of data and applying predictive analytic AI functionality. + Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS). + Experience with MLOps pipelines. Pay and Benefits
