Lead Systems Integration Architect
Bowhead seeks a Lead Systems Integration Architect to support our customer on the PICRD II contract in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities include participating in J6 IT Governance processes, assisting the government in receiving customer/user communication requirements, overseeing development and coordination of technical solutions, developing and maintaining Communication and Information Systems Installation Records (CSIRs), and ensuring documentation meets agreed-upon levels. The role also involves providing information to the government using databases and other tools, developing technical solutions and cost estimates, interfacing with USSPACECOM and external stakeholders, and supporting examining mission requirements. Other duties include developing technical network and systems engineering expertise, working within the J6 IT governance process, developing local procedures for preparing and processing communication system requirements, and coordinating logistics support. Qualifications include a BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, 6+ years of technical experience, and meeting the Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 632. Experience with system loading and configuration, user account management, system backup and recovery, troubleshooting, removing and replacing components, and installing software, operating systems, and drivers is required. Experience with Ansible, Windows, VMware ESXi, LINUX, UNIX, and Office 365 is also required. Desired certifications include FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, and SSCP. Must currently hold a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time, and twist, bend, and squat periodically. UIC is an equal opportunity employer.
