Duties and Responsibilities: A Server Administrator Consultant is responsible for managing and maintaining the server infrastructure for WNC. The primary job duties and expectations include: Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and their associated hardware and software. This involves ensuring that servers are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring they are running efficiently. Monitor server performance and taking necessary steps to optimize server performance. This may include configuring resource utilization. memory management, and disk space management. Troubleshoot and resolve server issues that may arise, such as server crashes, network connectivity problems, and other related issues. This requires an in-depth understanding of server operating systems, hardwarde, and software. Provide technical support to end-users and other stakeholders, including resolving issues related to software applications and server connectivity issues. Ensuring server security by implementing security measures such as intrusion detection and anti-virus software. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a server failure or other disaster. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in server administration and ensure that the organization's server infrastructure is aligned with industry standards. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years of related professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
