HR Generalist

The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources function across a wide range of responsibilities, including employee relations, payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and policy execution. This role is hands-on and people-focused, requiring the ability to balance day-to-day operational needs with building relationships that foster trust and accountability. The HR Generalist plays a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, supporting managers and employees, and advancing TMC's mission to provide a best-in-class employee experience while sustaining a high-performance culture.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and guidance.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and culture-building activities.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Process and review payroll in collaboration with Finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain employee records in BambooHR, including compensation updates, deductions, and premiums.
  • Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401k, voluntary benefits).
  • Support annual open enrollment and employee education on benefit options.
  • Manage PTO, leaves of absence, and other time-off programs in compliance with TMC policy and legal requirements.
  • Audit payroll and benefits data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Partner with managers and recruiters to coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Facilitate pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screens, etc.).
  • Manage onboarding tasks and Day 1 orientation to ensure a welcoming experience.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Process HR-related documentation (status changes, terminations, benefits enrollments).
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy-specific regulations.
  • Assist with audits and reporting as needed.

Training & Development:

  • Support the rollout of TMC's Momentum Manager Development program and other learning initiatives.
  • Track training completions and compliance certifications.

Benefits & Leave Administration:

  • Support open enrollment, benefits questions, and day-to-day benefits administration.
  • Administer PTO, FMLA, leaves of absence, and other time-off requests in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.

Incentives & Performance:

  • Assist with the administration of TMC's incentive programs, discretionary bonuses, and recognition initiatives.
  • Track and report on performance-related data to support decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 24 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Experience with HRIS (BambooHR preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
