Description

This position will manage incoming shipments and ensure accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving goods, inspecting deliveries, updating inventory systems, and assisting in maintaining a well-organized warehouse.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. Conduct scheduled cycle counts and requested spot counts. Oversee the centers semi-annual inventory Attend regular meetings with accounting and inventory control team members across all sites. Accurately log items into the inventory management system. Label and store received items in appropriate warehouse locations. Maintain accurate stock counts through routine cycle counts and regular inventory audits. Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate department. Coordinate returns or exchanges with vendors when necessary. Assist in tracking and replenishing inventory levels as needed. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment. Punctuality and regular attendance. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead weekly/monthly safety talk discussions. Oversee forklift certifications and training. Support other service center duties as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical ability to do work requires frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking, and standing for 8+ hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate a forklift and have a clean driving record. COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of inventory management systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Exhibits willingness to share innovative ideas to make processes better. Exhibits willingness to work in a team environment. Basic math, counting, and reasoning skills. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions, safety rules/regulations and prepare warehouse reports as needed. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, distinguish color, operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly. Patience with problems and issues Able to change focus frequently and often while being detail orientated and well organized. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience in inventory, receiving, or warehouse operations. PREFERRED:

Experience with inventory management systems.
