Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Experience License: ARRT R Certifications: BLS Must-Have: ED, O-arm & surgery experience Fluoroscopy experience preferred Epic charting experience preferred Description: The position may require floating between units, but candidates are not expected to float. On-call duty is required with a minimum of one shift per month. Weekends are not required. Block scheduling is not necessary. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates should have experience with the following procedures: Abdomen decubitus Abdomen supine (KUB) Abdomen upright Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient Ankle Barium enema—air contrast Barium enema—single contrast Barium swallow/esophagus C-Arm procedure Cervical spine Chest routine Clavicle Contrast enema Elbow Emergency Department Femur Foot Forearm GE Hand ICU Knee Lumbar spine NICU O-ARM Operating room Orbits PACS Pelvis Portable abdomen Portable chest Preparation and/or administration of contrast media Scapula Shoulder Skull Thoracic spine Tibia-fibula Upper GI series Wrist The team performs a high volume of exams daily, typically between 150-200 exams on weekdays and 100-120 exams on weekends. Experience with surgical procedures and fluoroscopy is highly valued. Candidates should be flexible and willing to work additional shifts if necessary. Floating among affiliate facilities may be required. A vehicle is necessary for this assignment. Providers must be prepared to commit to working during major holidays. All requests for specific scheduling must be communicated upfront. Inflexibility regarding the contracted schedule may lead to assignment termination.
