STATEMENT OF WORK FOR CCWIS PROGRAM
QA Automation Tester

Scope of Work

In this role, an experienced QA automation tester will ensure the new CCWIS application and existing systems meet functional and quality requirements. Responsibilities include keeping the system scalable, maintainable, secure, and interoperable while also reviewing and improving current automated testing frameworks. The tester will break down system components, interactions, and interfaces to support efficient testing.

Specific Services Required

  • Follow core technology and architecture for automated testing of large‑scale distributed systems, midrange client/server, and n‑tier e‑commerce applications.
  • Automate testing according to application specifications.
  • Maintain test automation components and technical documentation.
  • Follow end‑to‑end system testing strategies.
  • Support migration and integration of new and legacy technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with users, sponsors, and stakeholders about evolving needs.
  • Adhere to testing standards, policies, and execution guidelines.
  • Review system requirements, test scripts, and scenarios to create appropriate testing workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, product ownership, and operation teams to implement best testing practices.
  • Interface with design and implementation teams to resolve QA issues promptly.
  • Collaborate on acceptance test requirements ensuring high‑level requirements are met.
  • Generate unit, functional, regression, load, code‑coverage, and test‑scenario reports; maintain test libraries and artifacts.
  • Create automated test case scenarios for Agile Delivery teams to satisfy Acceptance Criteria.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience with Azure DevOps suite (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts). *
  • 5+ years’ experience in automated testing with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript or another programming language. *
  • 5+ years’ experience with automated testing frameworks, manual testing, test methodologies, strategies, and test beds. *
  • 5+ years’ experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Development and maintenance of UI, back‑end, API, and hardware test automation.
  • Participation in a minimum of two large scaled Agile software projects.
  • Knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, CI methods.
  • Knowledge of web application testing, distributed system testing, performance, regression, database, mobile, security, accessibility, web service testing.
  • Knowledge of .Net, SharePoint, Salesforce, data modeling, database design, application modeling, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of QA best practices in an Agile environment, test plans, test cases, issue tracking.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and CI environments.
  • Experience in TDD, test tools and techniques.
  • Object‑oriented design principles and patterns.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QA functional test suites such as Unified Functional Testing.
  • Automated testing knowledge for C#, WCF, jQuery, XML, JSON, WebApi, SOAP, .NET, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF) and tools such as SOAPUI.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, .Net Framework.
  • Knowledge of virtualized hosting environments, MuleSoft, SQL.

Administrative Considerations

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Work schedule: Full‑time 40hrs – Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Security/Privacy: DCF child protection background check, FBI fingerprint, DCF NDA.
Hybrid position: in‑office presence required.
State resources and oversight: DCF IS Management.

This is a hybrid position and will require in‑office presence. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
