Job Title: Data Science Business Analyst

Duration: 4 month contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Science Business Analyst for a hybrid role that combines data science, business process management, and project management. This position involves extracting data insights to optimize business processes and leading data-driven initiatives from start to finish.

Primary Objective

• Extract data insights to optimize business processes and lead data-driven projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Modeling

• Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis.
• Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.
• Create data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

2. Business Process Optimization

• Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
• Design and implement process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data-driven solutions.

3. Project Management

• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage project execution, track progress, and mitigate potential risks.
• Lead project teams through the entire data analysis lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

A. Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Confluence.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data mining.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

B. Business Acumen

• Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, and strategic goals.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.

C. General Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience

Education

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (required).

Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of business process management methodologies.
