Physical Therapy Technician – Brooklyn Heights

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at its Brooklyn Heights clinic in New York.

Job Requirements

Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.

Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5‑star customer service.

Collaborate with patients and team members in a community‑focused environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience.

Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.

Athletic experience a plus.

Manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance.

Lifting—routinely loads of 5‑35 pounds from floor to waist.

Lifting—routinely loads of 5‑35 pounds from waist to shoulder.

Lifting—routinely loads of 5‑35 pounds from shoulder to overhead.

Carrying—routinely loads of 5‑10 pounds for 40‑50 minutes.

Pushing—routinely loads of 5‑150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys.

Sustaining a grip—routinely for 1‑2 minutes at 40‑50 pounds.

$16.50 - $16.50 an hour
