Overview Mavin Senior Project Managers/Project Executives serve as a guide to our internal team, our clients and our vendors – providing a consistent, customer‑centric experience from concept to completion. They lead the overall development and construction phases for designated projects (assigned based on expertise, bandwidth and personality) to ensure that corporate, client and project goals are accomplished on time and within budget parameters. Mavin SPMs lead project teams to success by establishing a team environment, setting high standards for performance, empowering team members and inspecting what they expect.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field

Minimum of 7‑10 years experience as a Project Manager and previous Senior PM or Project Executive Experience preferred

Familiarity with industry specific softwares related to project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff and BIM

Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites

Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 25 lbs

Prepare all Meeting Minutes *

Report monthly on all projects *

Pre Construction

Respond to Request for Proposals and attend Interviews

Preparation, participation and leadership in meetings with potential clients

Pricing Oversight: Preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, project estimating

Initial Project Planning with Owners

Design Oversight

Coordinate and lead design meetings

Manage costs

Municipal coordination and permit application

Permitting errands *

Subcontractor solicitation/management

Subcontract awards/scopes of work submittals

Negotiation

Review

Define scope by site walk‑throughs, scope review and definition materials

Construction

Utilize CMiC to manage projects including initial budget set up, consistent input and submittals

Develop and manage master project schedule

Manage site plans and provide consistent updates accordingly

Contribute to weekly schedules (Superintendents to drive schedule process)

Lead project kick‑off meeting and Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings

Oversee Subcontractor Meetings (led by Superintendent)

Manage Non‑Financial Project Controls

Maintain a safe work environment

Track status of job materials

Ensure work is completed at the highest quality

Manage all project documents (Responsibility may fall to Project Coordinator)

Project Financial Management (Payment + Cost Management)

Request for Information (RFI)

Potential Change Item (PCI)

Change Orders (CO)

Invoice Approvals
