Overview
As a Data Center Fiber Site Supervisor at KMM, you will lead fiber operations for data center builds, managing crews and subcontractors while overseeing splicing, testing, and QA across multiple sites. You’ll serve as the technical point of contact for clients, validate OTDR (Optical Time-Delay Reflectometer) and loss budgets, and ensure all infrastructure meets airflow, connectivity, and documentation standards. KMM is seeking a seasoned Data Center Fiber Site Supervisor to oversee all aspects of data center fiber infrastructure across regional projects. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on execution, managing splicing, testing, and documentation in high-stakes environments. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical authority and client liaison for hyperscale and co-location builds, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence across multi-site deployments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead ISP data center infrastructure projects, ensuring airflow and connectivity standards Complete redline drawings, cable test validation, and project documentation Manage crews, subcontractors, and onsite resources to meet project schedules Manage all splicing, testing, and QA activities for multi-site deployments. Supervise 5+ field technicians; ensure all safety and quality standards are met. Validate OTDR and loss budgets; approve acceptance reports. Forecast labor, materials, and equipment utilization. Interface with customers and project managers for scope and deliverables. Qualifications
8+ years fiber splicing leadership (data center preferred) Expert in ribbon splicing, OTDR, CD/PMD, and test documentation 4–10 years of ISP cable installation experience 2+ years of data center buildout experience 2+ years of central office buildout/frame certification experience 2+ years of experience as a Lead or Foreman BICSI or Viavi certifications preferred OSHA 30, Man Lift, CPR certifications required Strong leadership and team mentorship skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to travel nationwide Benefits
