Tax Senior Manager
to join the team in our
Boston
office.
YOUR TEAM.
This position will support our
Real Estate Group . You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.
YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
Develop a professional relationship with the client. Gain the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
Serve as the prime point-of-contact to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction.
Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
Your Experience.
Education: BS/BA accounting; CPA required
Minimum 8+ years tax & accounting experience in public accounting
Excellent analytical, technical, and tax skills including knowledge in IRC code and regulations
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Strong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology
Strong research skills
Proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement experience a plus
Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
In Massachusetts, the salary range for a
Tax Senior Manager
is
$150,000 to $200,000 . Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded, and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
