As we continue to scale our global reach, we are seeking an Inventory Planner to partner with our finance, product design, and logistics teams in driving inventory strategy, forecasting, and assortment optimization. You’ll play a critical role ensuring our product flow, pricing, size curves, and replenishment decisions are aligned with growth goals and brand standards. You will report into the VP of Operations and work closely with cross‑functional teams and sales channel leads.
Key Responsibilities
Support omni‑channel inventory buying process allocating seasonal buys across e‑commerce, retail and wholesale channels to maximize revenue and margin potential
Analyze and calibrate size curves across channels/categories/styles each season to capture maximum demand
Own the purchase order creation process in NetSuite as ERP
Monitor inventory receipts vs. open‑to‑buy (OTB) plan, communicating on timing variances and ensuring accuracy of future‑dated on order balances
Monitor location‑specific inventory positions, sell‑through and turns continuously; proactively identify opportunities for merchandise reorders and intra‑company replenishments
Leverage analysis of historical trends and current performance to identify risk, opportunity, and course‑corrections
Partner closely with finance and operations leadership to streamline forecasting workflows, template generation, and cross‑team communication
Skills & Qualifications
3–7 years of planning experience in a DTC or digitally native apparel/active/lifestyle brand managing complex, growing e‑commerce assortments
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills – comfortable working with large datasets, financial models, and retail math
Highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets – able to architect dynamic, scalable forecasting and inventory models
Strong project management skills; proven ability to lead cross‑functional stakeholders and deliver on‑time outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication – able to articulate complex insights clearly and influence business decisions
A self‑starter mindset with high intellectual curiosity; thrives in ambiguity and fast‑moving environments
Attention to detail, rigor, and a customer‑first focus
Experience with systems such as Shopify, inventory planning tools, Netsuite, or assortment planning platforms is a plus
Passion for running, sportswear, or active‑lifestyle brands (or desire to learn) is a strong cultural fit
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or analytical discipline preferred
The annual salary for this role is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000, depending on a combination of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, and industry knowledge.
