Position Overview The Associate will be an integral member of the investment team, supporting all aspects of the deal lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence to execution and portfolio management. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for software, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities.
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions.
Support due diligence efforts across product, technology, financial, and operational areas.
Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in deal structuring, negotiation, and closing processes.
Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
Develop relationships with founders, executives, bankers, and other industry professionals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; technical background (CS, Engineering) is a plus.
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or management consulting.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Passion for software and technology-driven business models.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work onsite in Atlanta and travel as needed.
