You are the technical lynchpin through the entire sales cycle – pre and post sales. You will work closely with our prospects and customers to educate, empower, and ensure their success on the Cloudflare platform. Your technical expertise in Cloudflare\'s global distributed network and technology will help you find best-fit solutions, train and onboard new customers via video conference or in person, through documentation, and support long-term customer success. As a subject-matter expert on web/mobile security and performance, you are a trusted source for developing new firewall rules from logs, crafting performance caching and delivery strategies, and creating or repurposing internal tools and scripts for customers. As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. You will work closely with every team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support, to drive customer success by creating scalable solutions for customer needs. As critical members of Cloudflare\'s sales team, Solutions Engineers drive technical discussions and implementations to generate new business, expand existing business, and keep customers happy. In business generation and expansion, you will qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, lead demonstrations, identify and design solutions, and collaborate on proofs-of-concept (PoCs). For existing customers, Solutions Engineers are part of a dedicated account team that advises on technical best practices, implementation of Cloudflare products and features, and strategic guidance on internet security and performance. The role requires 20–50% travel to attend meetings with prospects or customers, conferences, and industry events, and to collaborate with Cloudflare teammates. Requirements

Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go) and a desire to expand those skills. Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1–7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), SSL/TLS. 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing presales or consulting role. Bahasa Indonesia language is a requirement as the role interfaces with regional customers and partners. Technical curiosity and passion: stay up to date with Cloudflare products and industry trends. A focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth within the team and company. Project management, relationship building, and emotional intelligence (EQ) are valued; Additionally, the role emphasizes teamwork and the ability to work across multiple functions. Desired

You\'ve built web applications or contributed to existing ones in a meaningful way. understanding of firewalls across L3, L4, and L7, and that ACL does not refer to a ligament. You are comfortable with command-line interfaces, RESTful APIs, and analyzing HTTP requests in a browser\'s inspector. You can describe CSRF, XSS, and SQLi, and Cloudflare\'s role in defending against them. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (not a strict requirement; candidates from all backgrounds are welcome). Bonus Points
