Our mission is to transform power management to meet the global energy demand created by big data, artificial intelligence and ML. Through our innovative power delivery platform, our technology helps next generation data centers implement and operate server platforms that identify, control, and optimize power and energy management systems to meet real‑world end user demands. We serve government and commercial customers.

About The Team We are open‑minded, fast paced, problem solvers that value open dialogue and candor. Our passion is to challenge the status‑quo and we embrace transformational thinking. Our response is never “no, but…” instead “yes, if…”. We are mindful of our personal and organizational blinders and try to build an environment where our team members are at their best.

About The Role Claros Technologies is seeking a

highly skilled, self‑motivated Test System Engineer

to help drive the development of next‑generation power delivery and semiconductor technologies. In this role, you’ll design and implement automated test systems, custom PCBs, and evaluation hardware to validate cutting‑edge integrated voltage regulators and high‑power demonstrators. You’ll work hands‑on in the lab and collaborate across design, packaging, and system teams to ensure accurate, data‑driven performance validation from silicon to full system integration. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives on innovation, precision, and solving complex system challenges in a fast‑moving R&D environment.

What You Will Do

Define and develop

test system architecture

for validating power conversion ICs, modules, and subsystems.

Integrate hardware and software components—bench instruments, DAQs, power analyzers, load systems, and thermal sensors—into unified automated setups.

Design

custom interface boards , test fixtures, and harnesses to support automated validation and reliability testing.

Establish robust test methodologies for efficiency, thermal, and transient performance characterization.

Develop

scalable test infrastructure

for prototype and production‑intent platforms.

Hardware Design & PCB Development

Design

evaluation and control PCBs

for IVR, converter, and power module testing.

Implement features for telemetry, fault monitoring, and safety interlocks.

Ensure PCB designs comply with DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) guidelines.

Work with external vendors for fabrication and assembly, and lead bring‑up/debug of evaluation hardware.

Test Automation & Data Systems

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using

Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB

to control instruments and log data.

Create test frameworks to manage multiple devices and complex test sequences.

Automate post‑processing, data visualization, and report generation.

Support calibration, traceability, and repeatability across test systems.

System Integration & Validation

Collaborate with silicon, packaging, and system teams to define

interface, telemetry, and control requirements .

Validate system performance—including electrical, thermal, and control loop stability—against specifications.

Contribute to reliability and environmental test plans (thermal cycling, load transients, and power‑on stress).

Participate in

bring‑up of full demonstrator systems

(e.g., embedded glass substrate modules, TTV platforms).

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

4–8 years of experience developing automated test systems for semiconductors, power electronics, or mixed‑signal ICs.

Hands‑on experience with

bench instrumentation , automated test software, and

PCB design .

Proficiency in

test scripting

(Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, or MATLAB).

Knowledge of

power conversion , analog/digital circuits, and embedded control.

Familiarity with data acquisition, communication protocols (I²C, SPI, PMBus, CAN, etc.), and control loop analysis.

Experience with
