The Presales team is responsible for designing digital transformation solutions that address customer pain points and drive business value for Elemica’s clients. Supporting the company’s revenue growth goals, the Presales team works across target industries to support digital transformation initiatives in Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Logistics and Quality business processes. Elemica's digital supply chain software solutions combine business to business integration, process automation, collaboration, and optimization, and end to end visibility.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Presales, the Presales Consultant is to support Elemica’s customers & prospects with supply chain subject matter expertise, pain point discovery and solution recommendations and value analysis. Through discovery, presentation and demonstrations, the Presales Consultant works in partnership with Elemica Sales & Marketing, Product Management & Professional Services teams.

The ideal Presales Consultant is both analytical and a strong communicator. This includes the ability to identify primary business process challenges, lead future state discussions, and translate technical capabilities into business value. With a high degree of intellectual curiosity, the ideal Presales Consultant enjoys the consultative process and partnering with clients and prospects on solutions that improve their business.

What You’ll Do

The Presales Consultant supports the sales team by engaging clients and prospects throughout the sales cycle. This includes:

Leading in-person and remote workshops to understand customer objectives and pain points

Conducting discovery sessions with clients to understand their specific challenges and requirements

Designing the ideal combination of Elemica software solutions to meet their objectives, along with supporting recommendations

Presenting recommendations and demonstrating the software solutions in a compelling manner that differentiates Elemica from the competition.

Tailoring presentations to address the unique needs and pain points of each potential customer

Quantifying presenting the value of digital transformation project.

Refining recommendations, handling objections, and partnering with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to win the opportunity

Building strong relationships with potential and existing customers, becoming a trusted advisor in their technology decisions

When applicable, managing the RFP response process by creating compelling, complete, professional proposals

Outside of the day-to-day support for sales opportunities, the Presales Consultant will be responsible for:

Evangelizing Elemica’s solutions to the market, in the form of conference presentations, blogs, and related content for Marketing

Identifying key market and customer trends for input into Product roadmaps and Elemica’s strategic growth initiatives

Work with product development team to convey customer needs, and feedback enhancing our product offerings.

Developing and maintaining expertise in Elemica’s products and target industries

Acting as an internal expert on assigned solutions in support of sales enablement, marketing initiatives, and other related activities

What You’ll Need

We are open to a wide range of experience levels; candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply

Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of digital supply chain transformation, logistics, supply chain visibility.

Comfortable delivering software demonstrations for both business and technical audiences.

Skilled in business pain point discovery and facilitation of current state/future state workshops.

Able to learn independently and solve problems with minimal direction.

Experienced presenter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High attention to detail and quality.

Enjoys and thrives in a high-paced dynamic environment.

Supply Chain / Logistics, Engineering, Business, or comparable degree required.

Experience/expertise with the following industries a strong plus: Chemical, Tire & Rubber, Pharmaceuticals, Agro-Science, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Energy

Previous experience in SAP a plus.

English required, additional languages a strong plus.

This position requires travel to customer locations in EMEA
