Healthy Kids Programs is looking for a dynamic Director to lead our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The Director will be the driving force behind all aspects of the operation of the program site. Part‑time, Non‑Exempt. Location: Rockwell Elementary School in Nedrow, NY. Pay: $17.00 per hour. Hours: 6:30–8:30 am and 2:30–6:00 pm. Job Consists Of

Guiding Compliance: Ensure staff and program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules. Bringing the Fun: Direct engaging hands‑on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more, and oversee homework completion. Managing Like a Boss: Maintain accurate attendance and registration records and ensure proper staffing levels. Keeping Everyone in the Loop: Communicate with parents and family members through the Playground App. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your direct report, maintain team cohesion, and address issues promptly. Education and Experience

Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field plus two years of direct experience with children under 13, including one year in a supervisory role. A New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential and two years of direct experience with children under 13, including one year in a supervisory role. A School‑Age Child Care Credential or another office‑recognized credential specific to the school‑age developmental period and two years of direct experience with children under 13, including one year in a supervisory role. An Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field and two years of direct experience with children under 13, including one year in a supervisory role. Qualifications

Medically fit and free of any communicable diseases including TB. Warm, friendly, upbeat with exceptional people skills—professional, reliable, and punctual. Ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry up to 50 lbs., and keep pace with energetic children. Part‑time Benefits
