Facility Manager – JLL
What this job involves: As a Facility Manager at JLL, you will serve as the single point of contact for daily facility management operations and management of assigned sites while matrix managing both technical and administrative staff. This leadership role requires you to be responsible for performance and morale of all resources deployed for FM scope while representing JLL through partnership management in service, performance, compliance, ethics, people, and relationship management. You'll collaborate with supply chain teams to identify value-driven opportunities and work with Account Directors to ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled while focusing on client and end-user human experience that reflects JLL's innovative approach to facility management.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Serve as single point of contact for daily FM operations and management of assigned site or multi-sites
Matrix manage technical and administrative staff while maintaining responsibility for performance and morale of all FM resources
Collaborate with supply chain team to define scope, coordinate supplier walk-throughs, and manage supplier performance at property level
Represent JLL through partnership management in service, performance, compliance, ethics, people, and relationship management
Serve as SPOC for all JLL HR matters including people management, Learning & Development programs, and leave planning
Work with supply chain to identify opportunities for differentiated value through quality, innovation, or cost improvements
Participate in Experience Clean Supplier Partnership program including governance requirements and scorecard reviews
Understand JLL contractual scope thoroughly and ensure all contractual commitments are fulfilled at all times
Required Qualifications:
5+ years facility management experience with corporate or third-party service provider
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management
Business acumen including financial planning and analysis with ability to manage within budget and time constraints
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills for effective team leadership and client relationship management
Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills for comprehensive reporting and communication
Experience establishing annual budgets and tracking expenses against budget as specified by client processes
Understanding of KPI performance targets, SLA monitoring, and corrective action planning
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supply chain management and vendor performance oversight
Knowledge of Experience Clean Supplier Partnership programs and governance requirements
Background in implementing innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs
Experience with JLL reporting protocols for commercial, costing, and billing activities
Understanding of client service reporting and communication requirements
Experience leading innovation programs and redeploying learnings from other account teams
Location: Onsite – Torrance, CA / Long Beach, CA / Santa Monica, CA Estimated compensation for this position: 110,000.00 – 159,500.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
