Overview Vice President of Bioinformatics to define and scale the company’s computational strategy across genomics, therapeutic discovery, and precision medicine initiatives.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the company’s bioinformatics strategy across R&D and commercial functions.
Lead a growing cross-functional team spanning data science, ML, and computational biology.
Oversee development of scalable pipelines for genomics, proteomics, and cell-therapy analytics.
Partner closely with scientific and pharma collaborators to deliver translational insights.
Represent the company externally through publications, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
Lead the solution science division of the business - hiring accordingly
Ideal Profile / Qualifications
PhD (or equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related discipline.
Proven leadership experience in building and scaling bioinformatics teams.
Strong background in
NGS data analysis , cloud-native workflows, and AI/ML integration.
Track record of working across discovery, translational, or therapeutic development environments.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for transforming life sciences through technology.
