Position Overview Hilton Hotel Southlake Town Square is seeking a Director of Hotel Operations to join our team. The role focuses on day‑to‑day hotel operations, driving the Service Culture, training, audits, and implementation of guest experience initiatives. The Director leads operational departments and ensures quality standards are met.
Essential Job Functions
Recruit, select, train, mentor, and support team members, ensuring performance aligns with Hilton's core values and Driftwood Hospitality's principles.
Oversee hotel departments to provide an optimal level of service and hospitality to hotel guests.
Coordinate and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the hotel, attending and participating in all strategic, senior‑level, and operational meetings and events.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and brand standards, striving to enhance both departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Interact with sales staff to discuss and implement sales strategies to continuously improve occupancy levels and maximize revenues.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven leadership skills with experience in frequent decision‑making, meeting deadlines, negotiating contracts with vendors, and analyzing data.
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and hospitality systems such as OnQ/PEP, Kipsu, and ProfitSword.
Financial management skills, including understanding of P&L statements, operating budgets, forecasting, and scheduling.
Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
Qualifications
Commitment to principles of passion, striving for excellence, staying relevant, fostering collaboration, and acting with honor and integrity.
Minimum 4 years of previous experience as Director of Operations or a similar position.
Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field.
Previous hotel experience, luxury or similar preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
