Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation - South Position:

Radiology Technician II As a Radiology Technician II, you will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures with precision and professionalism, producing high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate clinical decisions. You’ll work independently, applying sound judgment and refined technical skills to ensure safe, efficient, and timely imaging services. You will connect with patients and families through compassionate care, thorough assessments, and clear communication to foster trust and cooperation throughout the imaging process. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient care. You may assist with specialized procedures and help onboard or mentor new team members. All work is performed in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to uphold the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and care quality. Job Description :

Education Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Certification & Licensure

CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist (Upon Hire)

BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Upon Hire)

RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate

Typical Experience 2 years recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge

General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including experience responding to traumas and hospital emergencies

Perform routine radiographic examinations and understand human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Strong written and verbal communication to explain sensitive information clearly to diverse audiences

Time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and follow standardized procedures

Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with RIS/LIS/EHR/EPIC/PACS

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks in interruptions

Problem-solving to identify solutions from established options

Privacy and protection of patient PHI

Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers

Pay Range is $63.84 to $79.80 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials. Compensation takes into account factors including experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
