This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Duties This is an

December 29th, 2025 . The next cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be
November 3rd, 2025 , with subsequent cut-off dates every 5 days. Eligible applications received after that date will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available.

Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time (16 hours per week), schedule to be coordinated with your supervisor.

VA Northern California Health Care System is looking for an Orthopedic Physician to serve Veterans at the Stockton VA Outpatient Clinic as office-based orthopedic surgeon.
You will participate in all aspects of the outpatient care including: outpatient orthopedic care (invasive and noninvasive) to all scheduled and limited walk-in patients, providing the patient with risks, benefits, and alternative treatments and obtaining informed consent from the patient or guardian before conducting invasive procedures as dictated by policy and best medical practices.
You are under the Orthopedics unit inside the Surgical Services Department and is responsible for managing the most effective delivery of state-of-the-art local outpatient orthopedic care including consult/referral review, triage and forwarding/initiating of referrals/consults as clinically indicated.
