What We Need

We’re looking for a

Director of Sales

to lead Wolf & Shepherd’s wholesale and retail growth strategy. This person will be equal parts strategist and operator—someone who thrives on building relationships, managing key accounts, and driving measurable results. The ideal candidate is organized, entrepreneurial, and eager to roll up their sleeves to accelerate our next stage of growth.

Job Type

This is a full time, exempt role based in our corporate office in El Segundo, CA with ~20% travel required. Remote candidates may be considered based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the sales strategy across wholesale, retail, and specialty channels to achieve revenue goals.

Manage existing key accounts and identify new business opportunities.

Manage and motivate the sales team effectively—setting clear targets, providing coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

Lead forecasting, inventory planning, and reporting to align cross-functional teams.

Partner with marketing and merchandising to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels.

Build and manage a small but mighty sales team—mentoring, setting targets, and tracking performance.

Own relationships with key retail partners (e.g., Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Dillards, and more) and ensure premium brand representation.

Collaborate with operations and finance to optimize margins, terms, and overall business health.

Represent Wolf & Shepherd at trade shows, events, and retail activations.

Qualifications - Who You Are

A proven sales leader with 7+ years in footwear, fashion, or premium consumer goods.

Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

A natural relationship builder who can turn opportunity into action.

Data-driven and entrepreneurial, with a “founder’s mindset” and hunger to grow the business.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities shift and speed matters.

Passionate about product, brand, and creating lasting partnerships.
