Staff Psychiatrist - Child Outpatient at Traditions Behavioral Health, Napa County Health and Human Services Behavioral Health Division, Napa, CA.
Overview Child and adolescent services in medication clinics. 40 hours of coverage per week (5 eight‑hour days or 4 ten‑hour days). No evening or weekend call. Caseload: 120–150 children/adolescents. 90‑minute initial evaluations, 45‑minute follow‑ups. Specialized programs include substance abuse.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents.
Conduct initial evaluations and follow‑up visits per schedule.
Participate in clinical and divisional team meetings.
Collaborate with case managers, community providers, AOD clinicians, social workers, and other therapists.
Assist nursing staff with medication management and monitoring high‑risk patients.
Utilize the adjacent 24/7 Crisis Unit and primary‑care clinic as needed.
