Overview
Academic Appointment + Resident and Midwife Support | Gainesville, FL Women’s Group of North Florida is expanding our OB/GYN hospitalist team and seeking a board-certified physician to join our collaborative, high-volume practice in Gainesville, Florida. This position offers a true in-house call-only model — no outpatient clinic — with highly competitive compensation, resident and midwife support, and academic affiliation with the University of Central Florida (UCF). You will work alongside a dedicated team of OB/GYN hospitalists, midwives, and 16 residents, managing labor and delivery, triage, emergency OB/GYN cases, and inpatient consults. With an average of 6 in-house 24-hour shifts per month, this position offers a highly manageable schedule and the opportunity to engage in teaching without overwhelming service demands.

Practice based at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital (500+ beds) 24-bed Level III NICU with private transition rooms for families 24/7 anesthesia and OB hospitalist coverage 16 OB/GYN residents, plus Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents Affiliated with Florida Woman Care / Unified Women’s Healthcare — the largest OB/GYN practice network in Florida

Qualifications
