Job Description The purpose of this job is to provide quality, appropriate, and cost-effective medical care for patients.
What You Will Do
Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients to meet their medical needs.
Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to patients and families.
Shares health‑care duties of patients with other physicians to ensure the availability of a physician at all times.
Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs.
Determines level of urgency of follow‑up, referral, and consultation appointments.
Exercises final medical judgment in all health‑care issues.
Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients.
Orders studies, tests, and ancillary services.
Documents all services in the patient medical record.
Reviews regular long‑term cases that require ongoing medical attention.
Consults with the Medical Director and other staff regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues.
Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient‑care programs established by the hospital or clinic.
Oversees mid‑level medical staff and nursing clinical staff as assigned.
Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations.
Participates in teaching sessions for other hospital staff, residents, and/or medical students as required.
What You Will Need
MD: Medical Doctor required.
Current DEA and all other required licenses related to specialty required.

Salary: $309,689 - $658,652. The pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
