Position: Care Partner Position Type: Full Time Location: North Royalton, Ohio Facility: Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Royalton, 8239 York Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133
Compensation & Schedule
Starting wage for Care Partners: $18-$20 per hour Shift Schedule: Week 1 — Tuesday/Thursday/Friday; Week 2 — Monday/Saturday/Sunday 7a-7p
Responsibilities
Be an “Advocate of Empathy”: understand the importance of empathy and create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments. Be a “Generous Gift Giver”: be present, share your talents, and be someone others can count on. Be an “”: create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community. Be an “Engaged Egghead”: be curious, ask questions, and engage in your development, growth, and training within the organization. Proactive with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum age: 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents Positive and energetic attitude toward residents Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents Physical ability: able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall Criminal background clearance
