Overview
Seeking BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join team just 25 miles south of Boston, MA. Join a non-profit organization caring for a diverse patient population; our affiliations with Beth Israel Deaconess bring top Oncologist and Orthopedic Surgeons to our community. Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with GI tract and liver disorders including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, ulcers, and colon cancer.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as:
Upper and lower endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy)
Polypectomy
Esophageal dilation
Capsule endoscopy
ERCP (if applicable)
Interpret results from diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, imaging studies, and lab tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and dietitians, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients about GI health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Participate in on-call rotations, departmental meetings, and continuing education.
